Mintz Expands Communications Practice in Washington, D.C. with Arrival of Laura Stefani

Mintz is pleased to welcome Laura A. Stefani to the firm. Ms. Stefani joins the Communications Section and will be based in the Washington, D.C. office.

Ms. Stefani works with clients on creative regulatory solutions to bring new technologies to market. She focuses her practice on emerging wireless technologies, spectrum, and radio frequency (RF) equipment issues. Ms. Stefani also has years of experience with unlicensed and licensed wireless technologies, unmanned aircraft, and the satellite industry.

Corvo, Member and leader of the firm’s Communication Section. “With the emergence of smart devices and the Internet of Things across many industries, especially healthcare and home electronics, Laura’s skills will apply across our client base.”

Ms. Stefani represents clients before the Federal Communications Commission, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, the Federal Aviation Administration, and other federal agencies with regard to spectrum allocation and sharing and the regulation and licensing of equipment and services.

Ms. Stefani is active in the Federal Communications Bar Association. She currently Co-Chairs the Engineering and Technical Committee, and previously Co-Chaired the International Telecommunications Committee, and also served on the Continuing Legal Education and Nominations Committees.
