Mintz Member Eric W. Macaux will be a featured speaker at Horizon19, a global event-driven platform that harnesses the international movement towards a clean economy. Horizon19 will be held from September 18-20 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
Mr. Macaux will participate in a panel on Friday, September 20 titled “Innovating the Low-Carbon Economy for the Next Decade,” which will evaluate innovations and opportunities to drive improvements in renewable energy and energy efficiency for the next decade.
Mr. Macaux advises energy project sponsors, developers and investors on a wide variety of transactions, including debt and equity financing and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to his financing experience, Mr. Macaux has extensive experience with power purchase agreements, net metering credit purchase agreements, state REC contracts and other key project documents. His project experience spans a variety of assets, including solar, wind, hydropower, biogas and energy storage. Mr. Macaux also advises cutting-edge energy generation, energy storage and water technology clients preparing for commercial and pre-commercial deployment. He has also advised public and private companies on establishing and implementing sustainability and energy goals.
Horizon19 will focus on critical themes including the strengthening and development of clean infrastructure in smart cities; preparing for the energy transition through effective strategies; energy storage, disruptors and the smart grid; models and policies for sustainable mobility; and bringing forward innovations in digitization, driving efficiency and development in all sectors.
