Webinar Recording: Navigate Webinar: Cleantech Goes Public with SPAC

Mintz hosted the following webinar NECEC's 2021 Navigate webinar, Cleantech Goes Public with SPAC, on April 7, 12-1 p.m. EST.

SPAC, or Special Purpose Acquisition Company, has been one of the most talked-about acronyms in the cleantech sector in the past few months. SPACs are companies with no commercial operations that are formed strictly to raise capital through an IPO for the purpose of acquiring an existing company, and they've become an increasingly popular vehicle through which cleantech companies go public.

View the recording of this special NECEC Navigate webinar to hear a panel of experts discuss SPACs and a recent case study from XL Fleet, which went public via SPAC in October 2020.

Speakers include:

  • Tom Burton, Member/Chair, Energy & Sustainability Practice, Mintz
  • Debora Frodl, Board Chair, XL Fleet
  • Tod Hynes, President, XL Fleet
  • Marc Marano, Managing Director, Sustainability, Canaccord Genuity
