Event Details
The presentation will be an in-depth discussion of the substantive and arbitration-specific issues arising out of the Bermuda Form excess casualty insurance policy. The presentation will address, inter alia, the history of the Bermuda market, jurisdictional concerns, and an overview of the Bermuda Form, including “Occurrence Reported” coverage, notice issues, aggregation of claims, and the “maintenance deductible” defense. The presentation will also address the unique mechanics of a Bermuda Form arbitration. At the close of the presentation, there will be a brief Q&A session with the speakers.
