Daniel S. Bleck, a Member of the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. The ceremony will take place on March 10 at the Smithsonian Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture in Washington, D.C., and will be presided over by G. Christopher Meyer, Chair of the College.
Mr. Bleck is one of 30 national nominees being honored and recognized for their professional excellence and exceptional contributions to the fields of bankruptcy and insolvency. Nominees undergo a rigorous nomination process and are extended an invitation to join based on a record of achievement reflecting the highest standards of professionalism.

The American College of Bankruptcy is an honorary professional and educational association of bankruptcy and insolvency professionals. The College plays an important role in sustaining professional excellence and supports educational and pro bono efforts in local communities around the country. College Fellows include commercial and consumer bankruptcy attorneys, judges, insolvency accountants, turnaround and workout specialists, law professors, government officials and others involved in the bankruptcy and insolvency community.
Mr. Bleck represents bondholders, indenture trustees, insurers, secured creditors, debtors and bankruptcy trustees in all aspects of Chapter 7 and 11 proceedings as well as advising clients on out-of-court debt restructurings. Mr. Bleck’s practice encompasses a diverse range of industries including health care, manufacturing, retail and the intersection of insurance and bankruptcy. Since 2004, he has been recognized by Chambers USA for his work in bankruptcy and restructuring and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America from 2011 to present.
