Jennifer B. Rubin, a Member of the Employment, Labor and Benefits Practice of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., has been named to the San Diego Daily Transcript’s 2017 list of Influential Women in San Diego.
This honor recognizes “the most talented, innovative and hard-working women” in San Diego County. The list includes professionals working in real estate, construction, law, financial services, government or nonprofits who have made an impact on their industry and in their community.
“Jen’s skill as an attorney, her singular focus on her clients’ success and her dedication to the community and the legal profession make this recognition both fitting and well-deserved,” said Daniel T. Pascucci, Managing Member of the firm’s San Diego office. “Our congratulations to Jen on this honor.”
Ms. Rubin focuses her bi-coastal C-suite executive compensation practice on meeting the increasingly complex employment needs of executives of public and private corporations. She leverages her twenty-seven years of experience as a trial lawyer to help clients craft business solutions to legal problems. While Ms. Rubin is a zealous advocate in the courtroom, she relishes her role as counselor and focuses her practice on solving employee mobility issues, litigating wage and hour class actions, and making employment regulations accessible for her corporate clients.
Ms. Rubin is currently a faculty member and advisor to the San Diego-based Honor Foundation, a non-profit that assists Navy Seals and other special operators in transitioning from military service to the private sector. In this volunteer role, she works with the Special Operator community in navigating compensation negotiation and negotiating employment packages, benefits and equity compensation. She is also a member of the Board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of San Diego County. Ms. Rubin has also long advocated for greater diversity and gender equality within the legal industry, serving for many years as the National Chair of the Mintz Levin Diversity Committee.
