Dianne J. Bourque, a Member of the Health Law Section of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., will present at the Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. “Face to Face” Conference. The conference is being held July 17-18 in Louisville, Colorado.
Ms. Bourque will speak about HIPAA and state-imposed privacy and security laws at the cable television industry meeting.
Ms. Bourque’s practice involves advising a variety of health care clients on a broad range of issues, including licensure, regulatory, contractual, and risk management matters, and patient care. In addition, she also counsels health care clients and other business entities under the HITECH provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), as well as state-imposed medical privacy laws. Ms. Bourque has successfully defended clients in both civil and criminal HIPAA enforcement actions and regularly assists clients with the management of data breaches and other losses of protected health information.
Ms. Bourque received her B.A. from Boston College and a joint J.D./Master of Public Administration from Suffolk University Law School and Suffolk University Sawyer School of Management. Her J.D. was awarded, cum laude, with Distinction and she was the first Suffolk University law student to graduate with a concentration in Health Care and Biomedical Law.
