Mintz Levin’s Massachusetts Public Finance Section Achieves Band 1 Ranking
Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business has selected Richard H. Moche, a Member and Practice Leader of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C’s Public Finance Section, as a leader in his field for Banking & Finance: Public Finance (Massachusetts). Mintz Levin’s Massachusetts Public Finance Section achieved a Band 1 ranking, the guide’s highest designation. The 2012 edition of the highly-regarded national directory includes forty additional attorneys from the firm across 15 practice areas.
Mr. Moche primarily represents mutual funds, indenture trustees, hedge funds, and insurance companies in tax-exempt bond transactions, focusing in the area of high-yield securities in both workout and new money transactions. His expertise encompasses numerous sectors, including senior living, health care, multi-family housing, assessment districts, charter schools, solid waste disposal, and hospitality facilities. Mr. Moche also counsels end users of derivative products.
In 2011, Mr. Moche was recognized as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in 1980, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 1985.
