Brian Dempsey Joins ML Strategies

We are pleased to welcome

as Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at ML Strategies.

Brian oversees our Boston and Washington, DC operations, working closely with the government relations teams in both offices. From his home base in our Boston office, he draws on more than 25 years of experience in the Massachusetts House of Representatives to help clients achieve their legislative, regulatory, and business goals.

Brian brings significant knowledge of regional economic issues and the Massachusetts regulatory environment to his work with companies from a variety of industries. In his years in the House, Brian served four terms as the House Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means, where he helped craft the state’s annual budget. As Chairman of the Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies, he co-authored An Act Relative to Economic Development Reorganization and An Act Establishing Expanded Gaming in the Commonwealth. While Chairman of the Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy, he co-authored the Green Communities Act. He was also co-author of the 2003 Economic Development Reorganization Act, the $100 million economic stimulus package that helped strengthen the state’s economy.

Before he was elected to his first term in the House, Brian was a member of the Haverhill City Council, and served as its vice president and president.
