Elizabeth’s practice focuses on complex business and commercial litigation. She has represented companies across various industries, including financial institutions, in a variety of matters involving contract issues among other rights. Elizabeth has worked on all aspects of litigation from pre-trial discovery and briefing to hearings to procuring favorable settlements for her clients. Elizabeth has represented clients in U.S. Federal Court defending patent rights; in a dispute with an international supplier over exclusive contract rights; and in a governmental investigation. In addition to her litigation experience, Elizabeth also advises clients, particularly in the financial industry, on potential future litigation risks. 

Prior to joining Mintz Levin, Elizabeth worked at Jones Day where she represented multinational companies in international litigation and focused on the representation of financial institutions in various disputes. She assisted with the resolution of disputes regarding financial contracts; litigation and settlement negotiations related to derivatives contracts being resolved under bankruptcy proceedings; and the procurement of a favorable outcome for major banks in a dispute before the ISDA Determinations Committee. 

Elizabeth maintains a pro bono practice focusing on helping LGBT individuals obtain asylum in the United States after suffering persecution in their home countries.
