Katya represents public and private companies and private equity firms in a broad range of transactions. She concentrates her practice on middle market mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and joint ventures. She primarily focuses on representing clients in the health care sector, but her experience includes transactions in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, media and marketing, life sciences, biotechnology, and software and mobile technology.

During law school, Katya was an executive case and note editor of the New England Law Review and a member of the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Team.

Representative Matters

  • Represent a Fortune 500 company that is leading provider of kidney care in the US and is the country’s largest operator of medical groups and physician networks in a variety of transactional matters, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and management contracts.
  • Represent a private equity–backed health care management company in acquisition of a number of radiology services providers.
  • Represented a distributor of durable medical equipment and home medical equipment in an $85 million sale to a private equity fund.
  • Represented an aviation support services company in a $95 million sale to a strategic buyer.
  • Represented a health care-focused fund in the $43 million leveraged buyout of a continuing medical education company.
