The firm's annual diversity scholarship is awarded to a law student from a diverse background who has demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to community and diversity. It is named in memory of Richard Mintz, a Member of the firm for 57 years and the son of one our original Members.
Diversity Scholarship Benefits
Scholarship recipients receive the following benefits:
- $10,000 toward tuition for the third year of law school
- A paid summer position between the second and third years of law school

- An essay of up to 500 words describing a prior work, academic, or volunteer experience where your life viewpoint or perspective on a task or problem enhanced the process and result related to that issue
- A current resume
- Your undergraduate transcript
- Your law school grades
Meet Us at a Recruiting Event
We host an annual interview workshop in Boston for law students of color, participate in job fairs for students of color in Boston and Washington, DC. We also recruit at the National LGBT Law Association’s Lavender Law Job Fair and participate in the Boston Lawyers Group 1L Summer Diversity Clerkship Program.
