Mintz Named ‘Best Place to Work in the Bay Area’ by San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal

Mintz has been named to the 2025 Best Places to Work in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal. Winners were selected based on employee survey results evaluating companies across five categories including fun, collaborative culture, solid compensation and benefits offerings, amenities, and management practices. In the employee survey, the top word used to describe Mintz’s work environment was “fun.”
Chair of Mintz Intellectual Property Prosecution and Counseling Practice Fred Hernandez has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Access Youth Academy, a San Diego-based nonprofit committed to transforming the lives of underserved youth through academic enrichment and sports.
Mintz is pleased to share that 12 attorneys have been recognized by Managing IP in the 2025 edition of IP Stars. Of those recognized in the individual practitioner rankings, one Mintz attorney was also featured in the publication’s Top 250 Women in IP list, a special ranking published on the same day. The annual IP Stars guide evaluates law firms and legal practitioners through in-depth research conducted by Managing IP, encompassing both contentious and non-contentious aspects of the intellectual property market across various states in the nation.
The Life Sciences Practice at Mintz – recognized by Chambers USA, Chambers Canada, and Chambers Global – will be showcasing its commitment to the industry ecosystem in a variety of different ways during the upcoming BIO 2025 International Convention.
Mintz has earned top rankings in the 2025 edition of Legal 500 United States and Canada guides. The firm is recognized in 20 practice categories, and 78 of its attorneys are individually ranked in the guide, with several receiving recognition in more than one category. Additionally, two attorneys are featured in the "Hall of Fame," seven attorneys are named "Leading Lawyers," and five attorneys are recognized as a "Next Generation Lawyers."
