Ian specializes in bankruptcy, receivership, work out and related matters.  A substantial portion of Ian’s practice involves the representation of bond trustees, bond insurers, mutual funds, note holders, and other sophisticated creditors in distress environments.  Ian also regularly advises commercial landlords regarding tenant insolvency issues.  Ian’s experience spans a broad range of industries, including health care, senior housing, hospitality, transportation, energy, and manufacturing.

During law school, Ian was an associate editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.
