34 Pro Bono Honors (continued) Savoy Magazine named Tyrone Thomas as one of the 2018 Most Influential Black Lawyers. The list features top lawyers who are “visionaries, leaders, and advocates within the legal profession and who are widely recognized for their profession- alism, protection of rights, and community service.” Tyrone is Chair of the Mintz Diversity Committee. Adrienne Walker participated in LeadBoston, a highly competitive and experiential executive education program that recognizes leaders and aims to promote social responsibility, empower women, and eliminate racism. The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce selected Amanda Carozza, Matthew Tikonoff, and Geoffrey Smith for member- ship in its Boston’s Future Leaders program for emerging executives in Greater Boston. At this year’s Mintz Pro Bono Award Reception, Lavinia Weizel was awarded the 2018 Richard Mintz Pro Bono Award for her tireless dedication to helping a pregnant mother with nine children avoid eviction and find a new home (story on page 17). Lavina was also recognized for her work as a key member of the team that advocated for new Massachusetts legislation providing sex trafficking survivors with a streamlined process for vacating certain criminal convictions (story on page 27).
