The Republicans announced their plans to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in early March. Less than three weeks later, the American Health Care Act (AHCA) was dead—or was it just mostly dead? Our panelists will discuss: Republicans' three-phase plan to repeal and replace the ACA; effects of what happens now that the AHCA has failed; anticipated changes Health and Human Services may make to reverse Obama-era regulations; possible impacts on the exchanges and Medicaid; and potential developments as the Republicans try to keep their campaign promise to repeal and replace Obamacare.
