Mintz Member Steven Shparber will be participating as a panelist at a Georgetown Energy Law Group discussion, “Powering the AI Revolution: Grid Reliability, Energy Affordability, and the Future of Digital Infrastructure,” on March 26, 2026, at Georgetown University’s Capitol Campus in Washington, D.C. The panel will explore the implications of rapidly growing electricity demand driven by artificial intelligence and data centers, including grid reliability, energy affordability, permitting and interconnection challenges, and emerging “speed-to-power” strategies for bringing new infrastructure online.

Steven Shparber is a Member at Mintz who represents energy project developers, private equity and infrastructure funds, commercial and corporate end users of energy, and clean energy trade groups across a broad spectrum of high-stakes legal and business matters. He handles power sector–related federal and state regulatory issues at FERC and other agencies, counsels clients on energy transactions and project development matters, and provides guidance on emerging issues in the energy sector.
