In response to the US Department of Energy’s proposal to regulate the interconnection of data centers, Steven commented, “It’s going to be interesting to see how far FERC goes in terms of asserting jurisdiction over the interconnection of large loads. I think FERC is going to be very careful to make sure that any final rule is legally durable.”
