Mintz Attorney Brandon T. Willenberg to Speak at Human Resource Law Seminar Presented by National Business Institute

Brandon T. Willenberg, an attorney in the Employment, Labor & Benefits Section of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., is speaking at the National Business Institute’s (NBI)  training seminar entitled, “Human Resource Law: What You Need to Know Now.” The program will take place Wednesday, October 30 in San Diego, California.

Mr. Willenberg will present on various topics including hiring and recruiting procedures, discipline and termination policies, and essential components of employee handbooks.

NBI’s “Human Resource Law: What You Need to Know Now” training seminar will provide participants with an overview of the latest legislative changes and court decisions impacting human resource practices. The program will focus on day-to-day issues that employers face and offer practical advice for avoiding and handling common problems.

Mr. Willenberg’s practice is focused on employment law and trade secrets. His litigation work is focused in the areas of trade secrets, employee mobility, wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, contracts, and unfair competition. He also counsels his clients on a wide range of employment-related issues, including protection of trade secrets, employee mobility, hiring and terminating employees, wage and hour compliance, worker classification, harassment, discrimination, leaves of absence, and reductions in force, among others. He conducts workplace investigations for employers and performs nondiscrimination and nonharassment training for management personnel.
