Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. has been ranked one of the top ten largest health care law firms in the country by Modern Healthcare. The firm is ranked 6th in this year’s survey. Modern Healthcare’s annual survey ranks law firms based on a blended score of the number of health care lawyers employed and the number of lawyers at the firm who are members of the American Health Lawyers Association. The list appears in the June 24th issue of the publication.
“We are delighted to be ranked among the nation’s top ten largest health care law firms,” said Karen S. Lovitch, a Member and Practice Leader of Mintz’s Health Law Practice. “With our growing national practice, we have the ability to help our clients navigate a range of issues, including high-stakes acquisitions and litigation, complex antitrust issues, and the nuances of the Affordable Care Act.”
Attorneys in Mintz’s Health Law Practice, many of whom have held senior government positions or served as in-house counsel, represent for-profit and non-profit, domestic and international companies in connection with a wide variety of business and legal transactions, challenges and issues that they confront both on a daily basis and in bet-the-company matters. Clients span the full spectrum of the industry, including hospital systems, managed care organizations, laboratories, long-term care providers, durable medical equipment suppliers, behavioral health companies, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, retail pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers.
