Samuel is a registered patent agent who concentrates on patent preparation and prosecution across a broad range of biotechnology areas, with an emphasis on immunology and molecular biology. He has experience in drafting and preparing patent applications and analyzing patentability and freedom to operate.

Samuel earned a BS in biochemistry and microbiology from the University of Minnesota, where he was an undergraduate research assistant and junior scientist. He received his PhD in biology from the University of California.

Samuel is based in the San Diego office.
