    • Critical elements of compliance with  HIPAA, HITECH , HIPAA Omnibus rule requirements and state privacy laws.
    • What to expect, and how to prepare for Phase 2 HIPAA audits and how to survive one.

Stephen M. Weiner is a Mintz Member with a strong reputation in health care strategic affiliations, mergers, and acquisitions. Steve has led nonprofit mergers, for-profit acquisitions of nonprofits, and partnerships among medical schools, academic medical centers, and faculty practice plans.
Dianne J. Bourque advises health care clients on licensure, regulatory, contractual, risk management, and patient care matters for Mintz. Dianne counsels researchers and research sponsors on FDA and OHRP regulations. She also counsels clients on data privacy issues, including HIPAA standards.
