Mintz Member Ian Hammel will speak on a panel hosted by the Boston Bar Association on Bankruptcy and Commercial Leasing. The panel will do a brief overview of key bankruptcy concepts relevant to commercial leasing attorneys, including the rejection of leases, treatment of cash security deposits versus letters of credit, cap on Landlord damages, and the automatic stay. They will also discuss some recent trends they are seeing in their practices that could impact both landlords and tenants.
