Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly quoted Member Daniel Weinger in an article discussing the recent Supreme Court decision in Jack Daniels v. VIP Products addressing the 'Bad Spaniels' dog chew toy trademark infringement case. Daniel said, "One big lesson from the Jack Daniel’s case is that it is now clearer that parody will not be the 'get-out-of-jail-free card' some alleged infringers may have presumed when they used another’s trademark as their own “source identifier."
