Mintz Attorney Paul H. Dickerson Appointed to City of Houston Reinvestment Zone Number Twenty-Seven Board of Directors

Paul H. Dickerson, Of Counsel in the Corporate & Securities Section of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Reinvestment Zone Number Twenty-Seven, City of Houston, Texas. The Houston City Council confirmed Mayor Annise Parker’s appointment of Mr. Dickerson to the Board on December 16, 2015.

Reinvestment Zone Number Twenty-Seven is a government corporation created to aid, assist, and act on behalf of the City of Houston for the purpose of redevelopment of the area.  Mr. Dickerson will serve a two-year term on the Board of Directors.

Mr. Dickerson previously served as the Chief Operating Officer for the US Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). While overseeing the EERE's $2 billion budget, he managed the international commercialization of advanced energy solutions like biofuels, solar, wind, and efficiency technologies. He also served as Chief of Staff for the United States and Foreign Commercial Service at the US Department of Commerce. While at the Commerce Department, Mr. Dickerson was responsible for day-to-day management of the Commercial Service's worldwide network of 1,700 employees in 260 offices and for directing the implementation of the Commercial Service's worldwide priorities and policies.
