Mintz Continues San Francisco Office Growth with Addition of Matthew D. Show, PhD

Mintz Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. has expanded its San Francisco office with the addition of Matthew D. Show, PhD who joins the firm’s Intellectual Property practice.

Dr. Show, who joined Mintz from Morrison & Foerster, specializes in advising clients in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device patent law.  He has extensive knowledge of biochemistry and molecular biology to provide clients with strategic counseling on their patent preparation and prosecution. Dr. Show performs due diligence and patentability analyses for clients underwriting stock offerings or engaging in mergers and acquisitions.
 
Dr. Show’s doctoral research focused on androgen regulation of spermatogenesis and male fertility. He was a Lalor Foundation Post-doctoral Fellow at the University Of California San Francisco Medical School, where he studied post-translational modifications of orphan nuclear receptor proteins and where he was the recipient of a Kirschstein National Research Service Award from the National Institutes of Health.

A graduate of the University of California - Hastings College of the Law, Dr. Show received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins University.
