Mintz Managing Member Bob Bodian to Speak on GOOD Guys Panel

Mintz Managing Member Bob Bodian will be a featured speaker at this year’s Male Allies in Advancing Diversity | a GOOD (Guys Overcoming Obstacles to Diversity) Guys program, which takes place April 11th at the firm’s San Diego office. Inspired by the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations, GOOD Guys is designed to break the impasse in women’s advancement by engaging people who have been missing from the conversation for too long – the guys!

The Honorable Loren Freestone (SD Superior Court) will moderate the panel, which includes Bodian; Joni Gaudes, VP and General Counsel of ASICS America; and O’Brien Kelley, VP of Legal and Business Affairs for Strategic Legal Solutions. The presentation will include a conversation between panel members about the value and benefit of diversifying firms and companies at the highest levels of management and ownership, as well as how to overcome obstacles to diversity.

“We believe that diversity in the legal industry has tremendous advantages for both law firms and clients, and we continue to strive to make progress in that area,” said Bodian. “Mintz values its diverse culture, and seeks to be proactive in its recruitment and retention of diverse attorneys. We are very proud of the leadership roles taken by women attorneys at the firm.”
