Mintz Member Robert G. Kidwell to Speak at 2016 Association of Corporate Counsel Annual Meeting

Robert G. Kidwell, Member of the Antitrust and Federal Regulatory Practice of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., is participating in a panel discussion at the 2016 Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Annual Meeting. The event is taking place October 16-19 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.

In his panel, Mr. Kidwell will discuss the increasing pressure on healthcare providers to rein in escalating healthcare costs, which is resulting in new alliances between payors and providers. The session will examine a variety of issues and trends regarding payor/provider collaborations, including increased efforts to consolidate, the pros and cons of consolidation, and the antitrust issues that may arise.

The Association of Corporate Counsel is the in-house bar association for professional corporate counsel who practice in legal departments globally. The ACC’s Annual Meeting brings together lawyers from around the world to explore the latest developments affecting the corporate counsel profession.

Mr. Kidwell counsels a broad range of clients on business strategy, M&A, litigation, and regulatory matters. He provides advice to clients from across the country and around the world, in high-profile matters including strategic business planning and risk management, antitrust issues in mergers and acquisitions, complex litigation and federal and state regulatory investigations. He has written and spoken widely on litigation risk management and cost containment, developments in the law, and on issues faced by businesses when they interact with federal and state enforcers and administrative agencies.

Mintz is a gold-level sponsor of the 2016 ACC Annual Meeting and is also the VIP reception sponsor of the San Francisco Bay Area ACC Chapter’s Party on October 18, which will bring together more than 1,000 in-house counsel.
