Mintz Receives its Eighth Consecutive Perfect Score on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2015 Corporate Equality Index

For the eighth straight year, Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. has received a top rating of 100% on the Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. 
 
The 2015 CEI rated 971 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. As a top rated firm, Mintz will also be included in the Human Rights Campaign’s “Best Places to Work” list.

Mintz is committed to supporting diversity and inclusion in the firm and the legal profession. The firm’s Diversity Committee meets regularly to evaluate policies and initiatives which aid in the recruitment, retention and mentoring of its diverse employees.  The firm also promotes the establishment of affinity groups, such as its LGBT Group, Minority Attorneys Group (MIATTY), and the Women’s Initiative, to provide peer to peer support and mentoring.
