Mintz’s Jennifer Rubin Named To USS Midway Museum Board Of Directors

SAN DIEGO - Mintz is pleased to announce that Member Jennifer B. Rubin has been named to the prestigious USS Midway Museum Board of Directors. The USS Midway opened as a museum in June 2004 and is the most popular naval warship museum in the United States.

The USS Midway was America’s longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century, from 1945 to 1992. Approximately 200,000 sailors served aboard the carrier, which is now berthed at San Diego’s Navy Pier. Its mission as an organization is to preserve the legacy of those who served on the Midway, to honor those who serve our country, and to inspire and educate future generations.

Ms. Rubin draws on over 30 years of crafting legal solutions to employment-related problems for clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 50 companies across industries including technology, financial services, and health care, as well as prominent executives. She has an active trial practice and provides regulatory and other employment-related advice. In her role as Chair of Mintz’s Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance Practice, Ms. Rubin advises boards of directors on diversity and equity issues as they pertain to corporate governance. Her byline regularly appears in top business and legal publications and she is often called upon to serve as a resource for publications such as The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. In addition to being appointed to the Midway Board, she has been asked to Chair its Governance Committee.

Further to her involvement with the USS Midway Museum, Ms. Rubin currently acts as a faculty member and advisor to The Honor Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists Navy Seals and other armed services special operators transition from military service to the private sector. She also Co-Chairs the San Diego 50/50 Women on Boards Leadership Committee.
