Mintz is pleased to announce that its Washington, DC, Office Managing Member Michelle Lipkowitz has been recognized as a finalist in the Managing Partner of the Year category in Law.com’s 2025 Women, Influence, & Power in Law (WIPL) Awards. She was recognized among the other finalists at an awards gala on October 6.

The WIPL awards recognize women leaders who have made a significant difference in the legal profession and who have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and commitment to advancing equality. 

As Managing Member of Mintz’s Washington, DC, office since 2023, Michelle has strengthened the office’s litigation platform, championed diversity and professional development initiatives, and cultivated a collaborative culture that supports the success of colleagues at all levels.

A seasoned litigator with a multifaceted practice that encompasses complex commercial litigation, white collar defense, and government investigations, Michelle has an extensive background working with shareholder, construction, product liability, and contract disputes as well as consumer class actions and criminal defense matters. She represents clients in a broad spectrum of industries, including health care, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, education, financial services, construction, technology, retail, and telecommunications, as well as governmental entities and nonprofits.
