Mintz Ranked in Top Ten by LMG Clean Technology and Renewable Energy

Mintz’s Energy & Clean Technology Practice was recently recognized by LMG Clean Technology and Renewable Energy, a Euromoney Institutional Investor publication, as one of the top ten firms in the clean technology industry. Furthermore, Thomas R. Burton, III, and Sahir Surmeli, Co-chairs of the firm’s Energy & Clean Technology Practice were named to the “Clean Tech 100” list and the firm’s Corporate and Securities, Intellectual Property and Regulatory Sections were recognized by the guide as leaders in the industry.

The LMG Clean Technology and Renewable Energy guide provides an in-depth portrait of the legal clean technology market. Firms and individuals featured in the 2013 guide were selected based on the “breadth of their clean technology and renewable energy practices, their representative experience, and the recognition of their peers.”

The guide identified Mintz’s high-quality client service as a deciding factor in the selection process. Since 2006, Mintz attorneys have closed more than 300 energy and clean tech transactions, totaling approximately $5.4 billion in transaction value. The guide cites this track record as clear evidence that the firm’s “capabilities in the renewable energy and clean technology industry set them apart as one of the most adept firms in the industry.”
