Becoming a senior administrator in higher education requires a keen understanding of oneself and the search process, as well as expert knowledge of key leadership areas. As part of the American Council on Education’s commitment to leadership development, we present the National Women’s Leadership Forum as an opportunity for women leaders to hone their skills on important topics, forge strong networking relationships, and develop a solid game plan for advancing and transitioning to presidencies or other senior positions.

This three-day program focuses on career mapping, crisis management, risk management, fundraising, media relations, and the search process. It is highly interactive, including candid conversations with presidents and search firm executives, coaching from media relations experts, and customized feedback from mock interviews and curriculum vitae/résumé critiques.
