Mintz Levin and the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) will host an MCLE: Privacy and Data Security: Drivers of Corporate Success and Business Value.

Privacy and data security issues have been receiving more attention from corporate leadership than ever before. Unfortunately, this attention is often the result of negative events, such as data breaches or undisclosed data collection practices, that can erode customer trust and result in significant monetary damages. Corporate counsel can often be put in the position of recommending compliance mechanisms that are seen to have no upside by the organization: best case scenario nothing bad happens.

This program will focus on arming corporate counsel with methods of using privacy and data security to drive business value in ways that affect a company’s bottom line.
