The national chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel is hosting the 2021 Annual Meeting from October 19-21. Joe Miller will be presenting on "Antitrust & the Big Tech Cases: What They Mean for Your Compliance Program."

After years of low level grumbling about Google, Facebook, Apple, and Amazon’s hold over social networking, online advertising, online search, and other areas, the antitrust floodgates have opened. Federal and state enforcers from all over the political spectrum have sued the big tech giants for monopolizing various markets. The time is now to assess your existing antitrust compliance program to ensure it is up to date. This session will review DOJ guidance on antitrust compliance, review trends in the law, and provide practical takeaways for you to develop your own assessment. Whether you are a part of a large or small legal department, this session will ensure you can stay ahead of the curve.

Speakers include:

  • Saralisa Brau, Chief Counsel, Anititrust, McKesson Corporation

  • Helen Lee, Senior Compliance Counsel, Accenture

  • Dionne Lomax, Managing Director, Antitrust and Trade Regulation; Lecturer, Markets, Public Policy, and Law, Affiliated Monitors, Inc.; Boston University Questrom School of Business
