Employment Law Conference for the Boston Bar Association

The BBA’s Employment Law Conference addressed pressing legal issues in the workplace. Experienced practitioners shared strategies for handling complex cases involving restrictive covenants, confidential information, and trade secrets.

Associate Emma Follansbee participated in a panel titled, “AI and Efficiency in Employment Law: Applications for Workplace Lawyers and Their Clients.” She and her co-panelists explored the ethical and practical use of AI in legal practice, shifting enforcement priorities and practices at the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and high-profile issues such as employee speech in the workplace.
