The BBA’s Employment Law Conference will tackle the pressing legal issues in the workplace. Experienced practitioners will share strategies for handling complex cases involving restrictive covenants, confidential information, and trade secrets. 

Associate Emma Follansbee will participate in a panel, "AI and Efficiency in Employment Law: Applications for Workplace Lawyers and Their Clients." She and her co-panelists will explore the ethical and practical use of AI in legal practice, shifting enforcement priorities and practices at the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and high-profile issues such as employee speech in the workplace.

Emma counsels clients on a wide variety of employment issues and litigates employment disputes before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Her litigation practice includes restrictive covenant agreements; discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliation claims; and wage and hour compliance.
