Sige Gutman (Chair, Life Sciences Litigation Practice; Co-chair, Patent Litigation Practice; and Co-chair, Life Sciences) is moderating and Michael Leib is speaking on a panel during LSPN North America Fall 2026, a Life Sciences Intellectual Property Review event focusing on practical strategies for protecting and maximizing the value of innovation amid an evolving patent and regulatory landscape.

The panel, “Rethinking Patent Enforcement: The ITC as a ‘New’ Venue for Life Sciences Companies,” examines the growing role of the US International Trade Commission (ITC) in life sciences patent enforcement, including when ITC actions can help drive business outcomes, how they can complement district court and PTAB proceedings, and key considerations for companies incorporating the ITC into a broader enforcement strategy.

The annual LSPN North America Fall conference convenes senior intellectual property (IP) leaders and patent professionals to explore the legal, regulatory, and business issues shaping IP strategy across the life sciences industry.
