Time: 1:00PM - 2:00PM (EST)

Location: Webinar

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) upcoming action on its Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANOPR) is expected to reshape how large electrical loads and co-located facilities connect to, and receive service from, the US transmission grid.

With growing demand from artificial intelligence infrastructure, data centers, and advanced manufacturing, this rulemaking could play a critical role in determining how quickly the power grid can scale to meet increased consumption, and where new constraints and opportunities will emerge.

ASG Partner and former FERC Commissioner Allison Clements will join our Digital Infrastructure Practice Co-chair Steven Shparber for a forward-looking webinar that goes beyond a regulatory overview to focus on real-world market implications. This session will include in-depth reactions to FERC’s action, implementation expectations, and near- and longer-term impacts for the power and data center industries.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • How FERC’s ANOPR could affect large loads and co-located facilities
  • Key risks and opportunities for developers, investors, utilities, and large energy users
  • Scenario-based insights into how the rulemaking may evolve
  • Practical steps to position assets and pipelines amid regulatory change

Who should attend: Energy and digital infrastructure developers and operators, investors (private equity, infrastructure, and project finance), in-house legal and regulatory professionals, trade association members, policymakers.
