Mintz Attorney Jennifer Rubin Named a Top Influential Leader by the San Diego Transcript

Jennifer B. Rubin, a Member of Mintz’s Employment, Labor and Benefits Practice, has been named one of the 2018 Top Influential Leaders by the San Diego Daily Transcript. This honor recognizes business professionals doing the most cutting-edge work in real estate, construction, development, law, finance and the public sector in San Diego.

Ms. Rubin, whose career spans nearly 30 years, earned a spot among this highly influential group through her continued work on some of the most impactful employment matters nationwide. She played an integral role building Mintz’s leading, bi-coastal employment practice, all while meeting the increasingly complex employment needs of businesses and executives. She works tirelessly on behalf of clients, solving employee mobility issues, litigating wage and hour class actions and making employment regulations accessible for corporate clients throughout California and across the country.

“Jen is highly respected by colleagues and clients alike as she seamlessly capitalizes on her legal expertise and business knowledge to help employers navigate complex matters, all while consistently giving back to the community – making this recognition a well-deserved honor,” said Daniel T. Pascucci, Managing Member of the Mintz San Diego office.

Ms. Rubin currently co-chairs the Sexual Harassment Task Force of the Lawyers Club of San Diego, which was created in February 2018 in response to the #MeToo movement. In this role, she’s actively involved in creating guidelines to better empower employees and employers to make San Diego workplaces safer, more equitable and more productive. Ms. Rubin is also a faculty member with The Honor Foundation, a San Diego-based non-profit – now operating nationwide – that assists Navy SEALs, Marine Raiders, Green Berets and other Special Operators as they transition from military service to the private sector. As a faculty member and advisor, she helps veterans navigate, understand and negotiate employment offers, equity and employment compensation.
