Mintz Attorneys Eddie Wang Rodriguez and Jeremy D. Glaser Named to San Diego Business Journal’s List of 500 Influential Business Leaders

Eddie Wang Rodriguez, Managing Member of the San Diego office and a Member of the Corporate and Securities Practice, and Jeremy D. Glaser, Co-chair of the Venture Capital & Emerging Companies Practice of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., have been named to the San Diego Business Journal’s San Diego 500: The Book of Influential Business Leaders. 

This honor recognizes those individuals who are driving change and building business in San Diego County. The list includes leaders of established businesses, startups, nonprofit organizations, and trade groups who are creating jobs and driving the San Diego economy.

Mr. Rodriguez’s practice focuses on matters including corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, venture financing, technology licensing, and general business counseling for both public and private companies. He has represented clients in over 300 mergers and acquisition transactions and has extensive experience with counseling companies in the medical devices, mobile, life sciences, healthcare services, telecommunications, software, hardware, e-commerce, and information technology industries in a broad range of transactional matters. Mr. Rodriguez has also represented clients in numerous securities offerings ranging from venture capital financings to other private equity financings, and to public offerings in excess of $400 million.

Mr. Glaser regularly represents technology-based companies principally in the software, mobile applications, clean energy, medical device and life science fields. He represents both issuers and underwriters in a wide variety of securities transactions, including IPOs, secondary offerings, and private placements, and represents venture capital firms, hedge funds and their portfolio companies in venture capital and PIPE financings. He also has deep expertise in representing buyers and sellers in acquisitions and dispositions of public and private companies.
