New York Law Journal Names Mintz Managing Member Bob Bodian a Distinguished Leader for 2019

Mintz Managing Member Bob Bodian is among a small group of renowned attorneys selected by the New York Law Journal as Distinguished Leaders in 2019. The award recognizes attorneys in leadership roles who achieved impressive results in the past year.

Mr. Bodian was named firm-wide Managing Member of Mintz in 2009, marking the first time the 76-year-old international firm has had its managing member based outside of Boston. Under his leadership, the firm has seen four consecutive years of record-breaking results, achieving revenue growth in excess of 36%, profit growth of 37% and a revenue per lawyer increase of more than 24%.

A seasoned trial lawyer with a very active litigation practice, clients have come to rely on Mr. Bodian for his judgment, tenacity and calm demeanor. He has an extensive background in a number of areas including employment, commercial disputes, private equity, financial services, insurance, securities, real estate, sports law, and banking.

In addition to being named a Distinguished Leader, Mr. Bodian has received national recognition for his innovative approach to management, which includes implementing a new system for sharing origination credit and increasing collaboration.

Honorees will be celebrated in the New York Law Journal's upcoming Professional Excellence magazine and at the New York Legal Awards ceremony on October 23 in New York.
