The article notes the importance of monitoring key risks and opportunities, including ESG compliance and strategy, cybersecurity, data governance, and AI use. 

“In the current environment, it would likely be useful to ask CFOs whether they have determined if their company is subject to California's ESG reporting requirements,” says Jacob. “Depending on the company, it may also be useful to inquire about the application of the EU's ESG regulations as well.”
