Mitch Frazer, Managing Partner of Mintz's Toronto office, has received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Western University in recognition of his contributions to the legal profession, higher education, and philanthropy.

Benchmark Litigation has recognized 23 Mintz attorneys in its 2026 guide to the leading litigation firms and lawyers in the United States. Mintz was also named Highly Recommended in Massachusetts and earned rankings in the Commercial, Insurance, and White Collar Crime categories.

Mintz represented the US Department of Energy in the closing of two separate loans totaling up to approximately $5.1 billion for subsidiaries of Alliant Energy Corporation.

Mintz advised Dr. Zein Obagi and his wife Samar Obagi, the founders of ZO® Skin Health, a Blackstone portfolio company, in connection with the pending sale of ZO® Skin Health to Galderma.

Michael Renaud, Chair of Mintz’s Intellectual Property Division, has been named to IAM Global Leaders 2027, a guide recognizing leading patent practitioners from around the world. This marks Mike’s fifth consecutive year on the list.

Mintz and Mintz attorney Scott C. Ford were honored with awards from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense program, in a ceremony on October 13.
