Law 360 highlighted the arrival of Mintz Members Dinesh K. Melwani and William S. Perkins who joined the firm February 27th.  Will and Dinesh have represented technology, life sciences and start-up companies in financings, M&A transactions and general corporate matters.

Viela Bio announced it has incorporated as an independent inflammation- and autoimmunity-focused biotechnology company after spinning out six molecules from MedImmune, the global biologics research and development arm of AstraZeneca.

Mintz is expanding the firm’s technology capabilities with the arrival of William S. Perkins and Dinesh K. Melwani. Both join as Members in the Corporate & Securities Section and will help lead the firm’s technology initiative from Boston.
