Allison focuses her practice on a wide range of complex litigation matters, regulatory enforcement matters, and government investigations. She has significant experience representing financial services clients, including broker-dealers, investment advisers, and other financial institutions, in complex litigation and regulatory enforcement matters, including matters involving the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Massachusetts Securities Division, and other state and federal regulators.
Prior to joining Mintz, Allison practiced at an international law firm, where she represented clients in complex litigation matters, regulatory enforcement matters, and government investigations. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Julia E. Kobick of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
While earning her JD, Allison served as an articles editor for the Boston College Law Review and as a teaching assistant for first-year legal writing and constitutional law courses. During law school, she also worked as a year-long extern with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office in the Constitutional and Administrative Law Division.
