Kaytlan concentrates her practice on business and tort litigation, with a focus on compliance counseling across labor and employment, data privacy, and cybersecurity. She has advised clients on navigating complex regulatory frameworks, including state, federal, and international privacy laws. Her experience includes guiding clients through cyber investigations, notifications, and other related obligations, as well as drafting pleadings and motions, preparing for depositions, leading settlement negotiations, and conducting legal research and analysis on a variety of complex issues involving constitutional law, civil procedure, and criminal law.

Kaytlan has served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Mary Scriven of the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Committed as well to pro bono service and advancing diversity in the legal profession, Kaytlan mentors underrepresented students and maintains an active volunteer practice.

She earned her JD from the Duke University School of Law, where she was the senior research editor of the Duke Law & Technology Review and president of the Mock Trial Board. Prior to law school, she earned an MA in bioethics and science policy from Duke University Graduate School and a BS, magna cum laude, in political science from Kennesaw State University.
