MacKenzie concentrates her practice on litigation matters. She supports clients through all stages of complex commercial disputes, including assisting with deposition preparation, conducting legal research, evaluating authorities, and drafting memoranda. Her experience also includes participating in client interviews and proffers and supporting trial preparation in federal and state courts.

Prior to joining Mintz, MacKenzie worked at a global law firm as both a litigation paralegal and a litigation associate, where she managed multiple matters, supported trial teams, and contributed to deposition preparation, document review, and legal research. She also worked with a criminal defense practice serving indigent clients, assisting with witness preparation, reviewing trial materials, conducting jury research, and drafting sentencing memoranda and post‑trial motions. In addition, she interned with a program providing low‑cost representation in special‑education and criminal matters and supported pro bono clinics focused on name‑change, housing, and asylum matters.

MacKenzie earned her JD from Northeastern University School of Law, where she was named to the Pro Bono Honor Roll. Before law school, she received a BA in Government and French from Connecticut College.

She is based in the firm’s New York office.
