Sharona leads firm initiatives around knowledge management and innovation. She concentrates on strategic initiatives to enhance legal workflows, optimize knowledge and data assets, and integrate emerging technologies into practice. Her focus includes technology evaluation, integration, and training, including generative AI solutions and other emerging technologies. She also focuses on content curation and resource development, including building centralized libraries of samples, templates, and resources tailored to litigation needs. Drawing on her deep background in IP litigation, she collaborates with attorneys, business development, IT, research services, and Information Governance on firm-wide strategic initiatives to streamline processes and implement scalable solutions that improve efficiency and client service.

Prior to working at Mintz, Sharona specialized in IP litigation and strategic trademark counseling, representing clients in complex patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, and unfair competition disputes in federal courts and before the USPTO, PTAB, and TTAB. Her litigation practice spanned all phases of trial and appellate work, including depositions, expert witness preparation, oral arguments, and jury trials.

Sharona is a recognized leader in her field, named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s “Top Women of Law” and repeatedly selected for Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and Thomson Reuters Rising Stars. She earned her JD from Harvard Law School, where she was president of the Jewish Law Students Association. Prior to law school, she earned a BA, summa cum laude, from Barnard College, Columbia University.

She is based in the Boston office.
