Tamar is an attorney who focuses on advising public and private companies on complex legal matters involving cybersecurity, privacy, regulatory response, and corporate technology transactions. Her practice spans regulatory investigations, incident response, data governance, and compliance with global privacy frameworks. She also drafts and negotiates software licensing, data privacy, and other IP-driven commercial agreements.

Prior to entering the legal field, Tamar built a career in computer engineering and business management at multiple startups and leading high-tech companies. Her technical background now informs her legal work, especially in areas involving artificial intelligence, data sharing, and threat mitigation. She is a published thought leader on privacy frameworks and cybersecurity investigations, and she actively contributes to pro bono initiatives.

Tamar earned her JD from Northeastern University School of Law, with concentrations in privacy and intellectual property. She also holds an MBA from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and a BA in chemistry from Brown University. 

Tamar is based in the Boston office.
