In Addition, Multiple Mintz IP Practitioners Ranked Among Most Active ITC Section 337 Attorneys

Mintz has been ranked as one of the “Most Active” law firms for International Trade Commission (ITC) Section 337 investigations in Patexia’s 2021 ITC Intelligence Report, which is based on relevant filings from a roughly six-year period ending in December 2020. In addition to the firm’s overall rankings, multiple Mintz Intellectual Property practitioners were recognized among the Most Active ITC attorneys. Significantly, Mintz Member and Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Division Michael T. Renaud and Member James Wodarski were among the Top 10 Most Active ITC attorneys representing complainants, and the firm boasts five of the Top 20 Most Active ITC attorneys representing complainants, among other individual practitioner rankings.

“We are pleased to be ranked in Patexia’s 2021 ITC Intelligence Report, and distinguished as one of the Most Active ITC Section 337 firms,” said Mr. Renaud. “Mintz IP practitioners have highly sought-after and valuable experience at the ITC, which enables our team to position clients for success despite the expedited nature of these cases.”

Mintz’s Intellectual Property Practice boasts an accomplished team of patent litigators with the knowledge of and experience with the ITC staff attorneys who are critical to success. Mintz is one of very few firms ever to have achieved a General Exclusion Order in a 337 investigation, and the team has successful representation of parties on both sides of ITC cases.
